As a practicing special education advocate and parent, as well as a former special educator, town SEPAC leader and school committee chair, I have successfully guided many parents.

I have witnessed hopes, dreams, fear and confusion as parents face the realities of their child needing special education services. I have also seen first hand the value of empowering parents who are now faced with having to figure out the new world of navigating the system.

I want to share my experience, tips, and tricks as a trained Advocate Parent Consultant to make your journey advocating for your child less intimidating. Through the different lenses of teacher, parent, and school advocate for children, I have a unique perspective on helping you gain the beginning knowledge and skills you need to become a more confident advocate for your child.

My goal is to empower you, the parent! I have heard you, and I want to be your guide.
